Being a stay at home mom is really helpful sometimes. Actually, all the time! People think that just because my kids are not at home, they’re at school, that I don’t have anything to think about or worry about but that’s just not the case…I have to take them all over town every single day, I have to do all the shopping for the house and I have to do all the laundry and chores and all that. That doesn’t sound like much but for five people it really adds up! It was also helpful the other day, for example, that I was able to be home all day and wait on the hughes net equipment installation guy since my husband works – those are the kinds of intangibles it’s hard to calculate when you’re deciding if it’s worth it to have someone stay home. I love being a mom and I really, really love having so many people around me all the time but I do sometimes miss the office if I’m being honest about it!
