Not often enough do I say that I've been pleasantly surprised by a movie I thought was going to suck a mammoth dong. ARMORED is a rarity. Yes, the plot was thin. Yeah, the characters were one sided. And yes, Matt Dillon is an awesome fucking actor!!!! He carries this movie all alone. Dillon plays a creep very well. There's something about his voice and eyes that are very convincing. While Lawrence Fishburne is good actor too, he doesn't really add much. He's just a big fat cliche in this movie. Yes, Larry is getting big and fat!!!! He looks like hell.
The action scenes in ARMORED are top notch compared to most of the other crap released in 2009. It's awesome getting to see armored trucks bashing into things. I get aroused.
